MY DESTINATION IS YOU
It's not as if it has been days, weeks, months
since I saw you last
and was able to look into your eyes
and put a hand on your chest or cheek
It's been decades of my heart being lost.
Separated-bereft and shut down-shut off
from it's true home
My destination is you
In my minds eye, I fly to your chest and enter the space-the place-of you.
Your heart waits for me--and when we meet,
it's a golden melding of light and intention
At last. True amazing grace for my soul as you offer it all and demand nothing.
I once was lost but now am found.
I see the necessity of all the years of growth and struggle.
I had to be truly ready for you--
fierce and fine and true, for all the things that we can do
My destination is you
Together we can do anything-
be of real service to the world-
letting light flow through us as a team;
united to shine
and share and love and care and work to repair.
To revel in the possibilities that we take up
instead of walking by...
we will notice and we will try
to make a difference and use our gifts
to their full potential-You are essential-
-to me
